Mild weather

This weather we are having here is amazing!
I love it!

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS THIS AWESOME MILD WEATHER TO STICK AROUND ALL SEASON LONG!

Sabrina and I went for a walk. Now it's time for nap #2.

I'm thankful for.........

*Sabrina's good health and happiness.
*My decent physical health (I'm working on the mental health! It'll get there, it just takes time!)
*For being an Auntie to the best, most awesome bunch of kids in the whole world.
*For the best parents ever.
*For going to the Quantum Leap Convention with Gail in March 2009.
*For having had a poodle named Phoebe. The love of my life.

and I'm also thankful for:
*the Wonkamobile still running after 11 years.
*that J.J. Abrams created the TV show Lost.
*my heating pad.

Thankful

A couple of my co-workers (sisters) have a very sick doggie right now (he had surgery yesterday) and thinking about them and their poor little guy makes me so thankful that my Sabrina is healthy and happy.

First Christmas without Phoebe

At work I'm stuck listening to the constant stream of Christmas music that is piped into the clinic. It took me a couple of years, but I've learned to have a sense of humor about it.

It just hit me, ya know REALLY hit me (while hearing the horribly depressing tune "Christmas Shoes") that this will be the first year since 1996 that I won't be celebrating Christmas with my Phoebe girl.

My heart aches.

I miss my girl. :o(

Phoebe dream!

Phoebe visited me in my dreams last night.
She knew I needed a snuggle with her.

It was a very peaceful dream. I was in bed watching TV with both girls. Sabrina overhead on the pillow and Phoebe on my left, snuggling so close I could feel her warmth. :o)

I love it when Phoebe visits me in my dreams!

Phoebe tattoo update!

My Phoebe tattoo has healed quite nicely so I took a few more pictures tonight. I also thought I'd better show everyone that it's not as huge as the original photo I posted on here. That shot was very deceiving and made it look A LOT larger than it actually was.

Thinking of my Phoebe girl

Mom had the awesome idea that I should put the purse Henry & Debbie had gotten the girls for Christmas a couple years ago on my Phoebe shelf. It was truly her purse. We have WONDERFUL memories of Phoebe and her purse. :o) We would keep the purse downstairs and for some reason she always brought it upstairs on Saturday mornings. It's like she knew it was the weekend and "time to go shopping!" :o) :o) It was so cute!
In other Phoebe news, the other night when I was doing that yoga DVD in my room I moved the picnic basket that I always had at the foot of my bed with a blanket on it. It was there for Phoebe. She was unable to get onto the bed without it there, she needed that extra step for help.

I've known for awhile that I could move it, but never did.

Well, I didn't move it back once the DVD was done. I know I don't need it there anymore.

I know it may sound silly for some, but it made me very sad.

I miss my Phoebe girl.

But I love to think of all the great times I had with her, so I'm not gonna stop talking about her. EVER!

Sabrina hates yoga

I tried another Yoga DVD this evening. I really liked it, but Sabrina did not. This is the look she was giving me while I was doing it.

Tattoo reaction

I don't remember Dad's exact quote when he saw my Phoebe tattoo for the first time this evening, but it was something along the lines of:
"You've gone off the deep end!"

*snort*

Just you wait until I get Sabrina on the other side (not any time soon, but eventually)

And the Wonka tattoo I want on my lower back!
