I met Scott Bakula!
I had the most amazing weekend! I went to L.A. with my friend Gail so we could go to the 20th anniversary celebration of my all time favorite TV series Quantum Leap. I met Scott, he was super duper nice! I had an amazing time in L.A.!

Humane Society update...finally!
Last night I went to the orientation at the Humane Society for becoming a volunteer. I was there for two hours and we went through paperwork discussing how the place is run, and all that good stuff. We got a tour of the entire place too.
On tuesday, April 14th from 6 - 8 p.m. I have my official training on what I will be doing with the kitty-cats. And then that following Sunday from 11 - 2.....I begin to volunteer.
I'm so excited!
After 30 some hours of volunteering I guess I can apply to do other type of volunteer work (like working with the dogs) so there is a chance that one day I will get to work with them too. :o)

Missing my girl
I was just reading the blog posts I made from a year ago. I was curious to see how Phoebe was doing at this time last year. She was doing fairly well. :o) In one post I wrote that I had to buy a new heating pad and when I set it up on the bed, she plopped her diapered butt onto it right away. When I tried to take it, she growled at me! I ended up letting her just have it.
Thinking of her makes me smile. Makes me sad, but makes me smile too. Visit me tonight in my dreams Phoebe, I want to snuggle. I love you.

Humane Society
I'm really anxious to get started with the volunteering at the Humane Society.
I wish the orientation date would hurry up and get here.
Found out it's not March 12th but March 19th. :o(
I hope I will be able to get started soon after that....I will be volunteering on Sundays from 11 - 2. I won't be able to volunteer on Sunday, March 29th. I'll be too busy at the Quantum Leap Convention in L.A.!!!!! (Eeeeeeeeee!)
