Adam Baldwin aka Jayne Cobb from Firefly has been added to the list of celebrities coming to Wizard Comic Con in Minneapolis next month.
Khan (Benedict Cumberbatch) still has not confirmed he will be there and at this point I don't think he will. :-( thankfully for my heart I'm not too upset cuz I was mostly wanting him to be there to get a picture with him for my niece AND to have a "one degree of separation" with Zachary Quinto. Yeah. Crazy. But it's true. :) Yeah, I met Leonard Nimoy so that could be my "one degree" but that was in 2007 before the Star Trek movie was filmed so it doesn't count.
Right now I'm two degrees of separation with Zachary.
I met Jennie Garth from Beverly Hills 90210, who worked with Tori Spelling on that show. Tori worked with Zachary on her 2006 VH1 series So NoTORIous (which is a really funny show and Zachary is adorable on it)
I'll take what I can get when it comes to my Spock :-)

I'm going to the Las Vegas Star Trek Convention this summer (already have my tickets and Bruce Greenwood and Peter Weller are both supposed to be there so far (I am still hoping for ZQ or Karl because I already know Pine won't be there). But both Greenwood and Weller worked with ZQ!

ReplyDeleteis Brent Spiner going to be there? Will you meet him? He is the reason I became a Trek fan back in the 80's. The first episode I ever saw was Next Generation's "Elementary Dear Data" and fall instantly in love with the show and the character. I still have never met him but a friend of mine did a couple years ago and had my VHS of "Elementary Dear Data" autographed for me.
YES!!! All the Next Gen people will be there that Thursday of the convention except Picard and Wesley Crusher. So I will get to see them too! I am excited because I loved the Next Gen series too.
