Ideas? Suggestions?

Sabrina and I are going stir crazy being stuck indoors all the time due to this snowy and cold weather.

There is a poodle meet up this Saturday at our favorite dog park, but unfortunately it's only going to be like 10 degrees outside that day. That is just way too cold for me....and for Sabrina's little paws! (I've never tried it, but I don't think she would do well with wearing boots!)

We need something to do!

I've taken her to Petco and Petsmart, but that isn't always such a good idea 'cuz I end up spending money!

I don't know what to do with us.
In the spring I'm going to look into taking classes to see if Sabrina can become a certified therapy dog, but until then.....with this freezing cold and snowy weather.....we are stuck indoors and it's starting to get to Sabrina. :o(

Is she food motivated? You can get a kong and stuff it with peanut butter to keep her occupied. We also have this treat ball that I let the girls roll around the house (I put cat food mixed with dog food in it) and that keeps them occupied for a while. Mental stimulation is good. Also, Lia loves to chase a laser pointer around the house as do the cats.

Also, if they are bouncing off the walls we will play fetch up and down the stairs to get them tired out. And playing "I'm gonna get you" is a big deal at our house. We just chase them around the house saying "I'm gonna get you" and the point is to not really catch them, so they think it is a lot of fun.

I have no ideas. But today I have been pretty crabby I think for the same reason. I started taking a vitamin D suppliment that is supposed to help with winter blahs! Today I was thinking if it is only January and I am feeling like this....oh boy! Good luck. We do LOTS of Play doh here, but that really wouldn't help Sabrina. OH, and I don't really want to go anywhere I just want to have the kids be able to go outside and have the windows open!!!
