I should have known it wouldn’t go well taking Sabrina to obedience training.
She does “sit” GREAT. And “stay” fairly well, but I can’t get her to do anything else.
Last weeks class was a disaster. Everyone else in class was showing off “down” and I’m standing there still trying to get her to “stay” in a sit. Both of us were miserable by the end of the night.
I’ve decided to drop out. She’s a good girl. This was just to see if she could get into some therapy dog stuff, but that isn’t gonna happen. Oh well. I thought it might be fun for us, but it wasn’t. It was too stressful and neither of us handle stress well!
I changed the lyrics to “Beauty School Drop-out” in honor of us dropping out:

A senior poodle ne'er do well,
Most mixed up non-delinquent on the block!
Your future's so unclear now,
What's left of your career now?
Can't even get a trade in on your toothless smile!
Obedience school dropout,
No graduation day for you.

Well at least you could have taken time, to wash and cleanyour clothes up,
After spending all that dough to have the vet fix your teethup!
