Found out today that I have hypothyroidism.
My Phoebe was diagnosed with that back in 2000 or 2001. She had gotten really fat and sluggish. Once she was officially diagnosed with hypothyroidism she got a pill every day and she slimmed back down and got her energy back.
I don't know for certain if it's hypothyroidism for me. So far it's just been one blood test that has come back showing it. I go back in 4 weeks to have it checked again.
It would explain a lot of how I've feeling the last year. I've gained over 10 pounds since last August (I'm at my heaviest weight EVER, though you wouldn't know it to look at my face, that is still thin) and I've just been especially sluggish lately. I've always been tired but even more so lately.
I'm actually hoping that I can go on a medication 'cuz I remember how well it helped my Phoebe. It was her little miracle pill.

I hope you find out soon and they can help you if you do. It's such a bummer to have a medical problem but such a blessing to get it diagnosed and treated. Hopefully we can get you feeling better soon!
