Ms. Taffy is sick!

Stressed out! Ms. Taffy is in the shop and as of 3:03 p.m., they haven't been able to figure out why the check engine light went on and my wipers refused to move. I've had some issues with the wipers for awhile, where they would hesitate or stick, but they would eventually move. Yesterday afternoon, when I was trying to drive home in the pouring rain, the wipers stopped moving. Thankfully I was only about a block away from work so drove back and called the VW dealership. They gave me a number of a tow truck service and I had the car towed to the dealership.

They called awhile ago and found out my water pump was leaking and that the repair is still under warranty, BUT it could take a COUPLE DAYS to get the part. :( I'm now waiting for a call back on the check engine light and wipers and if they have a loaner car I can use for a few days.

I'm very distressed. I love my car. Ms. Taffy is the car of my dreams and I love owning her.
The reason these problems happened is because yesterday I wrote the check for the final car payment. I'm paying it off two years earlier then the loan needed me to.

Get well soon Ms. Taffy. I love you and miss you and hope your wiper and check engine light repairs don't cost me too much money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best car ever for a single gal with no human kids and only one small poodle. :)
